Objectives  
 

The Arab region including 250 million persons and 22 States has witnessed a worldwide upheaval and technical progress due to the blow of globalization; a new era, which principal catalyst is communication itself.
However, not any professional training in Media and Advertising up to the university level, can be adapted to the region, and not any serious work of research in this field has been carried out in all the Near East and the Middle East.

A double objective guides our actions:
- To form specialists confirmed and recognized as regards communication and its conceptual, artistic, technical and professional applications.
- To institute a faculty of high level, which will fulfill the role of interface in the opinion of specialists, researchers, professionals in communication, whether Western or Oriental, as well as the role of magnet for the best Lebanese and Arab students.

Program of study  
 

The faculty Advertising adopts an annual study program divided into two semesters through a credit system. The student must accomplish 105 credits to obtain the diploma.
It delivers diplomas recognized by the Lebanese State.

Bachelor (Bac + three years minimum),
Master's degree.

Common-core syllabus/ Common trunk
The first year program is common to the six specializations in communication and constitutes an integral part of the Bachelor of Arts.

- Applied General Marketing;
- Techniques of Psychological influence;
- Contemporaneous World and Universe of Media;
- Lebanon and the Arab world;

- History of Arts;
- History of Communication;
- Brand Image and its Management;
- Law of Communication;
- Drawing and Sketch;
- Professional English for Communication;
- DTP.

Workshops :
- Workshop of semiotics.
- Workshop of applied marketing.
- Computer workshop and print production.
- Design workshop: basics of composition, drawing and sketch


Expression :
- Four open competitions in Communication.

Specializations :
Six Majors provide the education for the various specialties of communication and follow up the training according to a degree course starting from the general Common-core syllabus to the very specialized field:

- Publicity;
- Radio and Television;
- Cinema;
- Photography;
- Graphic Arts and Printing;
- Public Relations and Communications

 
     
Admission Requirements  
 

Applications for Admission to Antonine University (UPA) are available in the Orientation & Admissions Office. Students must complete the application form and return it to the Orientation & Admissions Office.

To register in the Faculty of Business Administraion , the candidate must:

- Hold the Lebanese "baccalaureate" or any other equivalent official diploma, as determined by the Lebanese Ministry of Education.
- Pass the entrance exam, which includes:
       
Evaluation test in language;
       Interview.

Students must complete 105 credits to be eligible for graduation
