Admissions  
  We appreciate your interest in Antonine University “UPA” to live and to learn in its Campus. Our students come from all over Lebanon as well as other countries. Our mission is to constantly reinforce our educational system for human development in relation to globalization and the market needs; it is very important with regard to social integration that our graduates are adequately prepared for professional life.
In that respect, our trends in education have firms and state companies actively participate in the training and in the student’s professional projects.
On the other hand, we put and reinforced partnerships with prestigious Universities in many countries to help us revise and overhaul our academic programs, thus making it easier for exchanging teachers and experts with our partners.
On behalf of the Rectorate, we would like to warmly welcome each student to Antonine University, and we assure the new students, that we are all here: administrators, teachers, and fellow students to serve and guide them in the spirit of our educational mission.
 
     
Orientation
 
  Orientation program at the Antonine University is of a high priority, as it plays a key role in the future success of the student.
The Orientation office at UPA welcome, inducts, and integrates new students into its learning community; provide advice about University procedures, requirements, and academic policies; facilitate the diverse needs of new students; offer students information about specific major to better plan their future; visit schools, and participate in several fairs to present an academic overview whish describes the university and degree requirements.
 
     
Applying to Antonine University  
  The Office of Admissions processes admission to all University Faculties and Institutes.
Applications are available at the Office of Admissions.
Application forms and the documents needed must be sent to the Orientation & Admissions Office.
 
     
Admission Requirements  
 

Applicants must hold the Lebanese baccalaureate or its equivalent as identified by the Lebanese Ministry of Education.
Pass the entrance examination and/or the Evaluation Test in Languages.
Complete the application form.
Register for the academic year 2010-2011.

 
     
Required Documents  
 

 

  • Application forms and the documents needed must be sent to the Orientation & Admissions Office.
  • The following documents must be submitted with each application form:
    • Two recent passport-size photographs.
    • Three photocopies of the applicant’s identity card.
    • Original family status record dating less than 6 months.
    • The NSSF number of the applicant (if already registered)
    • The NSSF number of either parent.
    • A certified secondary school record including average and rank in class.
    • A certified copy of the Lebanese baccalaureate or its equivalent.  
    • Certified copies of all official transcripts or grades of higher education levels (when applicable)
 
     
Transfer Applicants  
 

The Transfer Committee welcomes all qualified students enrolled at a Recognized Institution of Higher Learning in transferring to Antonine University.
The Transfer Application should be submitted as soon as possible and no later than :

  • 3 September for the fall term.

In addition to the Antonine Transfer Application, each applicant must submit the following:

  • Two recent passport-size photos.
  • Three photocopies of the identity card.
  • The NSSF number of the applicant (if already registered).
  • The NSSF number of either parent.
  • Official transcripts of records of all completed university or college work (recognized by the ministry of education).
  • Official Lebanese Baccalaureate or its equivalent (recognized by the ministry of education).

The complete file must be carefully and directly addressed to the Office of Orientation & Admissions. Decisions about Admission are based upon the student's academic record. After the approval of the Academic departments, students are allowed to pursue their Higher Education on the basis of their programs. Prior to registration, an evaluation test of languages is required.

  • Entrance examinations fee: 50,000L.L. (non-refundable)
  • Examinations dates:
      • Wednesday 26 May 2010
      • Wednesday 21 July 2010
      • Wednesday 15 September 2010
 
     
Evaluation Tests and examinations
 
  The criteria for acceptance are the Entrance Examination of the UPA, the secondary school grades, and the rank in class.
Distinguished students, selected on the basis of one’s application are excused from the written examination, and are required to pass only the Evaluation Test in Language.
 
     

Registration

 
 

Students admitted to UPA are required to complete their documents prior to Registration for the academic year 2010-2011.

      • Registration fee: 400$, The registration fee is non refundable and is payable at the time of registration
 
     

Residence fees

 
 

A dormitory accommodating students is available on campus :
Single room (air conditioned): 185 $ (per month)
Single room: 170 $ (per month)
Two bed room: 135 $ (per month)
Three bed room: 110$ (per month)
